That would work--when I get a MBP (D2C). My current 'book has S video and 1/8" audio out, which was fine three years ago. I currently run component from my HD sat receiver to the plasma, optical to my HT system and HDMI from the HT to the plasma. I like Multimedia's idea of using an EyeTV DVR and a Mac Mini I have sitting in the play room. I've got DVR on my standard sets upstairs and it's quite addicting.
Multimedia--thanks for reminding me about the ElGato systems. My wife and I were just talking about upgrading the HD receiver to a DVR but for the same price I can own the EyeTV DVR and use my Mac Mini with it.Well I guess you should check your luck with a Terk TV5 off air antennae direct connect to your Digital TV tuner to confirm you can receive decent HDTV Broadcast signals before buying the EyeTV 500.

Valet happens to be one of the few departments I oversee at the resort I work at... ive driven a few that have come through here and must say, certainly one of the top 3 cars ive ever driven.
the others in the list of top cars, are easily 3-4 times the price of the GTR
Nice. Of course in Atlanta (especially since I'm in between Midtown & Buckhead), we see all those supercars. But the best I've seen was an imported JDM (seemingly) GT-R R34 sitting in the 2nd level parking deck of Atlantic Station.
Me and this other dude went ape ****.

Can buying things like charging cords and docking stations from places like eBay and from other companies other than Apple mess up the battery on an iPod/Touch?
Rookie question I'm sure but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'd like to get a couple backups but don't want any to mess up anything!

Easiest solution would be for Google to port their current maps and navigation software to iOS. Not that Apple would allow it, and not that Google would want to do it :). I love competition...

An early gift from my parents.
One of my gifts was the bowl game that you were watching. First SDSU bowl win in many years. It's too bad the Chargers didn't follow suit...
Anyways, Christmas presents! My main gift was a nice Citizen eco-drive watch from my girlfriend. I also got cash, a nice bottle of scotch and a cool little toy RC chopper to supplement the four channel one I already have. Had some fun times buzzing the pet cat!

Why does Apple need my phone number? I just want to buy and use their products? (For an Apple ID, ie, if you want to use any apps, even free ones, Apple requires you to give them your personal data, in Apple's stores, they even ask for your ZIP code when your purchase anything, well at least in those stores I have been.)

I also expect to have a continuing long-term relationship with them, that includes person-to-person services in addition to sale of products. I also prefer to have a single point-of-contact I can use to sever any relationships I don't want to continue.
So for me it comes down to "who do you trust?" Apple has, historically, been very good about not subscribing me to mailings I don't want. They also never have sold my info (I know this because I use a different email address in a domain I own for every on-line business I do business with. From this I know who, exactly, sells my info. I just look at who my spam is addressed to).

I've played Portal with no issues. I have yet to try any newer games since the update though.
